Enrollment for the 25-26 School Year is now open!
You can complete the enrollment form online once you are logged into Alma!
You will need to create an account to get started. Please go to plainview.almastart.com and click the “Create Account” option at the top of the page.
You can log onto the correct corresponding school by using the links below. *Note: If you have children in both the elementary and secondary levels, all of your children are linked to your parent account and you can easily bounce between both schools from your account.

Summer Hours
Plainview School District summer hours of operation
Monday through Thursday 8:00 - 2:00.
Our offices will be closed
July 1 - July 15 and resume summer hours on July 16th
Starting Monday, July 28
offices will return to normal hours 8:00 - 4:00, Monday-Thursday.
School for students in PreK-12 will resume on Monday, August 11. Have a great summer!

Awards Night
Hello, families! We want to remind you that the JH/HS Awards Night is tomorrow at 6:00 PM. Please join us to celebrate our students’ achievements! This is a potluck event, so please bring one main dish plus one salad, side, or dessert to share with everyone. Dinner will be served first, and the awards ceremony will follow. We look forward to celebrating together!

Plainview School District – Preliminary Budget Posting
In accordance with state law, the Plainview School District hereby announces that the Preliminary Budget for the 2025–2026 fiscal year is available for public review.
The preliminary budget will be posted for a 30-day period, beginning May 9, 2025 and ending June 8, 2025, during which time any member of the public may examine the document and submit written comments or questions. The preliminary budget will be formally adopted at the June regular board meeting.

The preliminary budget outlines the District’s planned expenditures, revenues, and allocations for the upcoming fiscal year, supporting instructional programs, student services, operations, and other essential functions.
